Novitas is much more than a building or an organization. We are real people who choose to worship Jesus with every aspect of our lives, as we enjoy our city and its culture, as we laugh, eat, drink, work and play, and as we serve each other, our neighbors, and our God. Novitas is much more than a meeting on Sunday or a series of meetings throughout the week. Instead, it is a way of life. The good news about Jesus impacts every area of life and culture. For that reason, we reject anything that attempts to divide the world into uniquely sacred or purely secular. Rather, God is making all things new through Jesus.

Freely expressing our wholehearted devotion to and love for God in every facet of life.
Live Mission
Seeking those who are separated from God and sharing the good news and freedom Jesus brings. Loving God and loving others. Helping people learn to worship God and experience new life in Christ.
Live Love
Loving God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. Not looking out only for our own interests, but taking an interest in others, too. Sacrificing for others to bring hope to the world.
Live Truth
Valuing and following all the teachings of Jesus. Taking a high view of Scripture. Recognizing all truth is God’s truth.
Live Empowered
Living naturally supernatural, allowing the Holy Spirit to empower our lives to carry out the mission of Jesus.
Live Together
Embracing, loving and serving one another as we love and serve those in our community and share the good news.
Live Generous
Using our time, talent, and money for the good of humanity and the glory of God.
Live Equal
Embracing the reality that all people were created by God, equally bear His image, and therefore need to be treated with dignity and love. Jesus freely calls followers to roles and ministries without regard to class, race, or gender, and all followers have equal responsibility to use their gifts and obey their calling to the glory of God.

Recognizing that human creativity is a reflection of the image of God. Art, film, poetry, literature and all the creative arts are reflections of God's creative nature. We not only embrace all truth as God's truth, but all beauty as God's beauty.
Live Awakened
Living awakened to the Holy Spirit's working in our lives. Realizing that He guides us, leads us into all truth and still speaks to us today. We are awakened from slumber and apathy to a new life; awakened to hope; awakened to a new reality in Christ.
Live Free
Embracing the reality that because Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day, he brings true freedom: freedom from the curse of the law, freedom from sin, freedom from man’s religious rules, freedom from fear, freedom from guilt, freedom to be yourself, freedom to be truly human and enjoy and embrace life forever.
Live Holistic
Allowing the Gospel to impact every area of one's life and culture. Rejecting unfounded categories that divide the world into uniquely sacred or purely secular. Embracing the redemption of all creation through Jesus Christ.
Live Informed
Recognizing that education of all types is valuable to God...we were created to learn about Him and about His world.
Live Equipped
Discovering our gifts, talents and callings, embracing training and mentorship to develop the same, and providing opportunities to put them into practice to carry out the mission of Jesus.
Live New
Choosing life, living each day in the recognition that in Christ each of us is a new creation, that Jesus is in the process of making all things new, even us, and therefore we live in light of our future home, the new heavens and new earth where everything will be right.
