All of our dreams are dependent on God’s favor and timing. As we grow, we will continue to pray, prioritize and be guided by the Holy Spirit. No matter how big we grow, we will keep it simple. We simply do not want a bunch of programs and do not want to fill up people’s schedule for the sake of “doing something”. Rather, we want people to feel free to do what they are led to do and then allow others the freedom to join in with their own talents to help as God leads.
Based on these principles, we have many dreams for the future:
1. In one year or less, with God’s grace we will have at least 5 life groups in various neighborhoods throughout Grand Prairie, Arlington and Mansfield. We will have a core group of people tightly knit together and committed to whatever God is doing through Novitas.
2. In five years or less, with God’s grace we will still be taking care of our own and those in our neighborhoods and communities, but will also be moving into wider circles of influence locally, and will see individuals in our community establishing or working with existing organizations in some of the following areas (as God leads):
food banks;
thrift stores;
homes for women in recovery/battered women;
prison ministries;
Celebrate Recovery;
community centers for teens;
coffee shops; and
community gardens
3. In five years or less, with God's grace we will have planted 1 or 2 churches and sent out workers all over the world.
